Paul spent 20 years in the Belgian subsidiaries of international banks—Paribas, Credit Lyonnais, ABN Amro—with successively legal, fiscal, commercial and general management responsibilities. During this period, he gained extensive functional expertise in business analysis, corporate finance and corporate recovery.

In 1993 he joined EIM as Managing Director of the Belgian subsidiary. In 2003 he co-founded CDK and later joined B-management as special advisor in 2008, when it took over CDK.

Paul holds a law degree and MBA from the University of Leuven (KUL).
